Emi Guerra

For just shy of two decades, Emilio “Emi” Guerra has made a significant mark on the Miami scene, emerging as its most influential creative and marketing force. Currently, his most recent project is The Wharf Miami, a pop up special event space sitting on the Miami River that has already revolutionized the Miami event scene since it’s opening in November 2017.

Constantly reinventing, constantly creating, Emi Guerra is focused on continually serving up results-driven marketing initiatives for brands he collaborates with. Through his company Guerra Marketing Group (GMG), Emi has been leading the way in the highly competitive Miami entertainment market. By pioneering innovative and successful strategies, he and his team of collaborators have helped shape the city’s nightlife, special events and entertainment landscape.

Through his various partnerships, Emi has managed millions of dollars in yearly marketing budgets, for multiple venues and businesses. He has overseen a team of 32 managers and 1000+ employees during Miami Music Week, produced annually over 40 events, and has been responsible for his clients winning multiple nightlife awards such as: Billboards Top 25 Nightclubs of All Time, Nightlife Impresario of the Year, Best Dance Club of the Year & Best Nightclub of the Year. All told, he has marketed and promoted 5,000+ DJ driven club events and shows in South Florida, New York, Central America, and South America.

To date, one of the biggest nightlife highlights of his career, Emi headed up the marketing and operational direction of Club Space for 17 years. The pioneering Downtown nightclub dedicated to dance music made its debut on March 17th, 2000. Guerra’s keen attention to detail helped the world-famous venue receive numerous ‘Best US Club’ awards from DJ Times, DJ Mag, The Miami Herald, Miami New Times, Club World, and many other major publications. At Space, Emi pioneered Miami’s first ever national sub-promoter program, with over 200 active ambassadors and promoters.

Building upon the success of his event experience, Emi developed his nightlife and special events division, which focuses on special event production. From small gatherings catering to 300 ultra-high net worth individuals, to music and food festivals encompassing a crowd of 30,000 people, Guerra Marketing Group has produced some of the most notable events in South Florida.

In addition, Guerra prides himself in providing strategic lifestyle marketing, as well as digital marketing and influencer programs. Current and previous clients include: Ritz Carlton Hotels, South Beach Seafood Festival, LIV Nightclub, STORY Nightclub, Nikki Beach, TomorrowWorld, Miami Dolphins & Hard Rock Stadium, and the Mondrian Hotel. In the spirits realm, clients include Anheuser Busch, Hierbas Ibicencas, and Don Julio, among others.

Never one to settle, Emi is on a mission to create entirely original, groundbreaking concepts that will set the stage for the continuing evolution of Miami. He’s only just begun.
